Oh by the way…

I’M GOING TO ITALY. SEE YA.

Will post pictures and descriptions.

30 Day Challenge…. What 30 Day Challenge?

Yeah…. that failed. BUT. I have never been so active in a month. I would love to say it’s paid off but it hasn’t. If anything my stomach is bigger, my boobs got bigger, and I have no idea what’s going on. Last night, I nearly had a break down. I’ve been working hard, trying to eat better, moving more… but it’s NOT WORKING. WHAT GIVES?

30 Day Challenge with a bit of honesty

Day 19: I did whatever my personal trainer told me to do! :)

Day 20: Treadmill for an hour, gotta run away from Zombies!!!

And time for some honesty. My barriers to weight loss. Mostly… I’ve been trying for so long to lose this weight. I’ve lost like 2lbs, maybe. And I just hate my body so much. I don’t eat because I hate my body. And I don’t go to the gym to fix it either. I’ve basically given up. I just make myself a hermit and hide. And when I do work out, I don’t see any results at all. I just hate my body so much. It’s hard to not let “I hate my body” turn into “I hate myself”. I just don’t feel worthy of anything. I wish, more than anything, that the work I was putting in would pay off…

30 Day Challenge

Day 16: I did something but I can’t remember… whoops.

Day17: Walked the dog 25mins, ran on the treadmill 60mins

Day18: Rest

30 Day Challenge

Day 14: Extreme Shed and Shred, swapped for heavier weights. Also, this is why I hurt my back…. Maybe.

Day 15: Yoga Meltdown, really helped my back, I don’t hurt….as badly. Also going for a walk later with my new app, Zombies, Run! …let’s see how it goes.

Bad weather really does NOT make me want to go outside… but I will enjoy the good while I can today!

30 Day Challenge

Day 12: Meeting with Martha my personal trainer. I feel so bad because I was so damn whiney and I couldn’t get through any of the workout without complaining. I also realized, screw these DVD’s I need to get to the gym and lift heavier weights. 5lbs aint cuttin’ it anymore.

Day 13: Accidental skip. Uhhh…. I had a paper that I was working on ALL DAMN DAY. But I did get up and do leg exercises for like 15 minutes.

15 squats, 30 lunges (15/leg), 15 soccer kicks (inner thigh), 15 lateral leg lifts (outer thigh), 100 jumprope, Sumo squat with a calf raise

30 Day Challenge

Day 11: Killer buns and thighs.

This DVD most definitely makes me sweat the most (after the Extreme Shed and Shred). After the workout, however, I looked in the mirror and I look HUGE. I don’t know why. And I just feel like crap.

I’ve also managed to eat an apple a day. I’m being realistic here and just trying to increase my fruits and veggies without taking much else away. Baby steps….

Vent time!

I just feel so angry that women have to work their asses off to lose 10 lbs and then all men do is go for a run a few times a week and then BAM dropped 20 and instant six pack. HOW ON EARTH IS THAT FAIR?

30 Day Challenge

day 10: 30 Day Shred level 2, used weights the entire time, but I didn’t always use the 5lb weights.

I think I prefer the cardio in level 1, I felt like I was actually burning calories in level 1. Oh well. Let’s see if I can get to level 3 this month!

Because rest is just as important…

So I took today off from the DVD’s. I feel really good, actually. I’ve never believed in rest days until now. But I also haven’t been working as hard as I have been for the past week. It is important to give your muscles time to rest and heal, and therefore get bigger, or whatever goal you’re aiming for.

That being said, after school and work, I’m going to the gym tonight and doing some hard core cardio.
